Our church takes its name from Jerusalem’s destruction around 600 BCE by the Babylonian Empire, when God promised restoration through the prophet Isaiah and appointed spiritual "watchmen" on the city's ruined walls to cry out day and night until He fulfilled His word. God answered those persistent prayers by raising up King Cyrus to free the captives, and today, that same passion drives our ministry; as modern-day watchmen, we stand in the gap through unceasing prayer, faith, and worship to boldly claim God's promises and watch Him bring restoration, healing, and freedom to broken lives.
